Besides our founders, the first team member we ever had was an intern. That former-intern now owns part of the company. We don't believe in giving you meaningless work, like filing papers or making coffee runs. (You may occasionally file papers or grab food though - we all do).
Transition Studios wants you to get involved in as many ways as possible with as many projects as possible. When your internship is complete, we want you to have earned meaningful credit in projects the public will see and know.
Our internships are paid, and can be full or part-time.
We offer the following internship opportunities:
EDITOR Requires experience with Adobe Premiere and some editing experience.
MOTION GRAPHICS SPECIALIST Requires experience using Adobe After Effects as well as good aesthetic sensibilities.
WRITING, RESEARCH AND TRANSCRIPTION For future writers and story producers, it's just what it sounds like. You catalog hours of raw footage, finding and sorting the lines and storylines needed to tell factual stories.
COLOR CONFORMING, CORRECTING AND GRADING Requires experience in DaVinci Resolve or a similar color-grading suite. CUSTOMER SERVICE Interact with our fans and subscribers while developing your communication and problem-solving skills.
Many Interns end up a permanent part of the team. So this could be more than a learning opportunity.
